This is a new theme we (Artofmini.com) have presented this Spring. The wardrobe, dresser, cot, children's' bench, shelves and step stool are all new laser cut kits. It was so much fun to make this room.
After
a hard day work (helping Papa Bear), it is so nice to get into a warm
bath! A drop of water is on the little bears nose and on the back of his
head. The same as with the chicken on the other photo: I alsways
wondered why not do something else with a teddy bear: why not putting
him into a bath?????
Tiny
wet paws are on the floor. Dripping onto the carpet, rubbing the fur on
his back dry......oh, never mind...the fire is nice and warm and this
will dry in a minute!
Into
the corner is little Brenda playing with her coocker and tiny
dollhouse. Have you seen the little turtle? He is bringing back the
books that have been read.
Oh, Oh, what have we done.....quick, hide, if I cannot see mama, than she cannot see me.......or does she????
Are we both hidden for mama? What do you think?
From
the bear kit Buster, I changed it into a girl. Eating her banana, she
is helping her mother with bringing all the food to the dining table on
the patio. Gosh, what will they all enjoy eating here, later on this
evening!
It was real lovely to make this project and when the lamps are shining and the fire is burning, Oh boy, I have to admit I'm a bit proud of it. It has turned up to be a real cosy house and I just keep looking at it :).
Dear friends,
As told earlier, we did send Christmas Gifts to all our customers.
I realize that not everybody is a customer of http://www.artofmini.com/, so I have add some of the kits to the website. Here are a few pictures of some of the kits. I hope you will like them.
All our customers, who have placed an order through our website Artofmini.com will receive a Christmas present soon!!
So keep an eye on your mailbox!
The (different) Christmas gift(s) comes from a new line that we are developing and we hope you will like it!! They are not on the website yet...so it will be a surprise what you will find in your mailbox!!
It is be course of YOU that our first year on the web was a great succes and this is just a little token of our appreciation to you!!
We wish you all a merry Christmas and above all a healthy 2011!
I did found it hard to paint my little dollies in the right colours with the right shading, but I think I did it!
The dollies do have the look I just love: mmmm...what IS the correct word in English???
Is it cosy or shabby or distressed??? I don't know.
The one thing I do know, is that they are looking adorable.
If these dollies were in a window of a toystore I probably would stay sticking with my nose to that window and dream away....
I like not only stacking in real life, but also in my miniature life. Often I see beautiful miniatures placed solitair. That's fine, only I like them stacked or hidden, so everytime it's a pleasure to see something that one first didn't see. I developed these stacking and decoration blocks, so now they can be placed behind another item and still can be seen. Just a lovely item to add anywhere you like.
It is so much fun to decorate with all kinds of little items. One cannot have enough! I have developed 17 different kinds of kits of frangrance sachets. All with beautifull different images! The little sachets are not only fun to make, but also fun to decorate with! I use them in little baskets, in my closets or on a table or anywhere I want. Just perfect!
